01Portraits

Faces, drawn slowly in graphite.

Before pixels, there was paper. I've been drawing portraits in graphite for over four years — more than 200 commissioned pieces for clients across Lagos and beyond. Below is a slice of the archive. Click any piece to see it big.

02Process

How a commission actually happens.

01

Photo + brief

You send a high-res photo of the subject and tell me a little about them. The smaller details usually become the best parts of the drawing.

02

Graphite on paper

I work on archival paper with a stack of pencils — H through 8B. Most pieces take 12 to 30 hours, spread over a few days of focused sittings.

03

Scan, frame, ship

I scan the finished piece, send you a digital copy, then carefully package and ship the original. Lagos delivery is hand-carried; international goes by courier.

Let's talk →

I take a small number of portrait commissions each month. Pricing depends on size, complexity, and whether you'd like a single subject or a group piece.
